Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day John and I celebrated with Jackie at her place.  The mean included old time favorites (turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing) as well as a few new ones (maple brown sugar bacon).  Before dessert we played a few hands of 7s.  Izzy helped whip up a pumpkin and cream cheese pie.

 Before meal goodies.
Since Jackie lives close to Natick, a shopping paradise, John and I decided to try our luck at Black Friday after eating.  We hung out until 1am and made our way to Best Buy for a new TV.  Though I'm glad we had the experience, I'm not so sure I need to do it again for many years.
After the kids returned from their father's, we spent Saturday at John's brother's house celebrating.  Izzy practiced with Daniel her part in the upcoming Music Man play.
Micah enjoyed being free to play whatever game he wanted with the other boys in the house.
Rather than the traditional food choice, we decided to have a make your own pizza bar.  Everyone liked this idea given the ability to create exactly what you liked.  Left over sides and desserts from Thanksgiving completed the meal.

Thanksgiving was topped off by seeing Frozen II.  Because this was Victoria's movie choice, she requested to bring a friend, Ceci.  Those two giggled and talked through the entire movie.  Fun to be a bystander during those times.  Micah reluctantly came along but refused to be capture in a photo documenting that he watched this movie.
