There comes a time in every little boy's life for a trip to the Emergency Department. Micah's came after slipping on the hardwood floor while wrapped in a town running into the living room following bath time. Because his arms were pinned in the towel, he lost his protective reflex of arm extension. His chin too the blunt of the fall splitting it open just enough to require stiches. It was truly an amazing ED visit. He was given "magic lotion" to numb his chin. Versed and an iPad with Ninjago were all that was needed to distract him from lidocaine injections and 3 stiches. At home later I got a glimpse of what Micah would be like drunk thanks to the versed.
The next morning.
Good as new and with a battle scar to tell stories about in the future!
