Boo Bash

With Halloween approaching, we hosted another party to welcome the holiday.  This year's theme was a Boo Bash.  Guest could come dresses honoring their favorite ghosts, in black 'n white, or in honor of them.
We dressed honoring ghosts including a throw back to Ghost Busters with the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, Pack-Man leggings, and Victoria's Boonicorn.  Giggles were plenty with how others dresses for the night keeping to this theme.

The centerpiece to our food spread was a ghost themed cake.  Izzy helped me create this that morning working on the ghosts and marshmallow webbing.  She's contemplating making this for next year's fair.

Entertainment for the evening included a dart board game.  Unfortunately we ran out of white balloons to create our ghost.  So our ghost wore a "green shirt".  Underneath each balloon was one of three colors... green, purple, and orange.  Based on which balloon you popped, you picked a prize out of the corresponding colored bucket.  Many went to the back of line to do this all again for more prizes.  Adults slowly came to the back to play too.  It always makes me smile to see them join in the activities spontaneously.

The final game was a hunt for our ghost suckers. John created 160 of these creatures which were hidden throughout the house.  Each child found 3 at the beginning.  Afterwards any left over were up for grabs for anyone.  Let the hunt begin!
