It finally happened... Victoria's name came to the top of the waitlist at the Brookline Public Library to display her collection. This has always been one of my favorite community connections the library does in the children's room. A child can sign up to display their collection in one of two display cases. Izzy and Micah have already displayed their collections making Victoria the last one. After over a year on the waitlist, her name was called. Her choice was to display her keychain collection. We have been collecting keychains from our adventures and places we've visited for several years as tokens on those experiences. Of course there are keychains that are "missing" as we started collecting them after the fact for a few locations.
Victoria wanted to make her favorite keychain stand out.... our recent trip to Disney World. In addition we created a map to show the states we have visited.
