Off to Oma & Opa's House!

This past week, Izzy & I traveled to Oma & Opa's house for a week of relaxation on the farm. Izzy did well with the flight from Boston to Nebraska... I couldn't have asked for a better baby. She was partially entertained on the long leg by a Harley-looking biker in his 60's. Just goes to show that looks can be deceiving! Since being back, we've been enjoying the country life. Izzy giggles when Lucy licks her toes and when she can grab a handful of fur from George the kitty. But George isn't like Clay... he has claws so we always had to keep watch. These are just a few pictures of what we did while we have been back.


Izzy's first tractor ride with Opa. As long as mommy was there we didn't do too bad.


Visiting Grandpa & Grandma one evening. They made us angle food cake with strawberries... a first for Izzy which she loved. No red beers for you habibi!


A couple of us high school classmates found time to catch-up while we were back. It's been almost 15 years since we've all been together. Time flies too fast.
