Nay-Nay

Nay-nay is still in full swing up here.  While trying to do laundry, Izzy wanted to be on our bed and proceeded (with help from mommy) to gather her stuffed animals and put them all to sleep.  Each one HAD to have their own pillow.  And, at some point, mommy was asked to "nay-nay".  Luckily Izzy moved one of the stuffed animals so I could have a pillow.
This past month, I've been on service twice, each 14 days in a row.  That leaves very little time for anything else including sleep.  So Abe had to be a pseudo-single dad for awhile.  One day, Clay allowed Izzy to brush him.  Usually he doesn't hang around long with her as his tail or other things get pulled.  I guess he was desperate.
Every time Izzy wears her duck slippers, they just crack me up.  But we don't get much time to capture her wearing them…. until now.
This is definitely from the Barkoudah side of the family… Izzy's love of veggies.  She could eat them all day.

Nap Time for Izzy's Stuffed Animals

At Izzy's daycare following lunch, all their sleep sacks are arranged on the floor and they slumber for part of the afternoon.  Recently, Izzy has been taking the pillows off the couch & putting her stuffed animals on them saying "nay-nay" which we've interpreted as nap / sleep.  She's now tells us to "shhhh" when they are sleeping.  We happened to catch some of this hilarious pretend play.
