The month of October heralds in the fall season including apple picking, fall foliage, and corn mazes. We have made a tradition out of spending a day at Connor's Farm for these activities. With weather in the high 70s we were quite comfortable choosing to spend our evening there allowing for better social distancing.
We have chosen Connor's Farm mainly for their corn maze which is the perfect size. This year we beat our record by many minutes exiting at 12 minutes and 48 seconds. We all agreed the maze was too simple compared to past years but enjoyed blazing through it quickly.
The pedal tractors are always a hit. The trail this year was out in the open and a bit more disappointing compared to years when the trail heads out into the corn field allowing for one to get "lost".
New this year was fancy chickens to their wildlife. Because this is Micah's favorite animal, we had to stop and admire them. Above was his favorite of the entire group.
Also new was a ropes course. Though this was only a few inches - feet off the ground, the kids enjoyed all the challenges. There were many paths that could be taken resulting in a "new" course over and over again.
As the sun was setting, we took in the view from the across the pond. We stopped and enjoyed simple pleasures including swinging and lounging. The lounging may have been on a spider web but was relaxing nontheless.
Until next year....
