For Izzy's birthday party this year she had a superhero theme. The theme was sort of stumbled upon. She started out by saying she wanted the boys invited this year as well as the girls. So that eliminated several locations which were a bit too girly. She then said she wanted a pool party. You would think I could locate a pool in March... but no. Everything was booked. Once place I called said their laser tag room was available. We took it and turned it into a superhero party. Not knowing what to expect, there were some worries. Even Izzy was scared to enter the room. It had flashing lights, smoke and loud noises. However, once everyone settled in they had a blast.
Everyone was given their own combat name. Izzy's was Wombat. I laughed when one boy was Goose. All I thought of was the guy who died in Top Gun. Not a good way to start for him!

Let the battle begin! There were 2 rounds. The winner in the 1st round was Jacob. Second and third when to Izzy & Zoe. In the 2nd round the winner was Izzy. Second and third when to Zoe & Jacob. Never knew I had such a combative daughter!
Of course the superheroes had to be girls!
