Thanks to Oma's creativity, Izzy' planter has a new fall purpose. We've gotten many compliments on our decorations from our neighbors. But my all time favorite is our arms & legs pumpkin.
Izzy's school outfit as her class wasn't allowed to wear their costumes.
This year for trick-or-treating, we met up with a few of Izzy's classmates... Bonnie, Siri and Cody.
Getting ready to go. Victoria played a great supporting role, 'creating contrast for Izzy's feathers'.
One of the fun things with twins is seeing the contrast in their personalities at many stages in their life. Halloween creates one of those examples. While Victoria was alive tonight loving the excitement, running after the big kids and getting candy; Micah was reserved. He wanted to stay by me or sit in the stroller. He only trick-or-treated at a few places. I had to go with Victoria and get him a piece of candy so he didn't miss out later. This is the only picture I got of him in his costume as he was always hanging onto my leg.
We ran into Captain Hook, Wendy and Peter Pan's shadow. This was my favorite costume of the night.
Brook Street is an amazing place to trick-or-treat. They block off the roads so the kids can run free without fear of being hit when they crossed the street. The bar is set very high for the houses on this street with the decorations. No picture can do it justice with the atmosphere and number of trick-or-treaters. Each house had a line to go up and get candy. I'm glad we went with a group as you can quickly loose a child in the masses at the doors. Last year the twins were scared of the pirate ship. This year they were fascinated by it and even went inside to get some candy.

And the night is over. Micah and Victoria didn't put up a fight to get into the stroller to head home. Micah even fell asleep on the walk home.
