Happy Easter!

Easter 2013 was quite lovely for us up here in Boston.  Not only did mother nature give us wonderful weather, but the Easter bunny didn't forget to stop by!  Izzy saw a pile of eggs by the door which led the way to more eggs, candy and toys outside our apartment.  Izzy was so thoughtful of her brother & sister that she carried Victoria's Easter basket and made sure she put an almost equal amount of eggs in their baskets.  The highlight was seeing her face (a gasp with hands over her mouth) when she saw 'The Little Mermaid' legos he left her.
Posing after finding all the Easter bunny's treasures.
Taking a break from finding eggs for a picture.
After that, we got ready and headed to a local church for round #2 of finding eggs.  They had the kids line up by size... Izzy was the smallest so she got to go first leading the kids to find over 200 hundred eggs.

Showing off her lute.  Unfortunately, they were full of jelly beans, a non-favorite of Izzy's.
Posing with the twins.  I was going to dress Victoria in one of Izzy's older dresses.  However, I forgot HOW much bigger Victoria is and learned this dress wasn't going to work.  So we headed to Carter's on Saturday hoping they had something left.  I wasn't the only parent doing some last minute shopping.  Izzy proudly picked out Victoria's dress because it was yellow... just like Belle's.  And she liked the matching pink version in her size.  Micah was as handsome as ever with his 2 sisters.
I think Micah is saying it best.... I'm done... long day.  Off to home and some 2 hours naps for the kids.

Easter Egg Dying

This past weekend, Izzy had a play date Leelah.  We decided to have them dye some Easter eggs which the girls really got into.  We put glitter, stickers and wrote our names on the eggs.  I think they would have kept going except for the fact that the rest of the eggs were brown and didn't dye very well.
Izzy and I showing off our very creative eggs.
Izzy & Leelah are at the age that they go off and play together without needing us too much.  They went as far as closing the glass door to the living room so we couldn't hear them and made a tea party for the babes (twins and Leelah's new baby brother).
After a bit, the girls headed up stairs to play in Leelah's room.  Her mother and I got a chance to check out their tea party before they came back and took it all upstairs with them.
