Izzy's pre-3 B-day Celebration

Today we decided to go someplace fun to eat lunch and celebrate Izzy's birthday a smidge early.  We originally were sat right next to the elephants.  But once they started to move, Izzy was scared.  So we took refugee near the fish.  She was surprised with the dessert and asked after the birthday song was over.... 'am I 3 now?'

Beach Day!

 Today was Patriot's Day... a holiday for the state of MA and the day the Boston marathon is ran.  Because of the severe weather in the Midwest a few days ago, we had a balmy 90 degree day.  So what better way to escape the heat than to head to the beach.  My good friend, Danielle, invited Izzy & I to their cousin's beach house.  Izzy has been looking forward to playing with Jonah all weekend and they truly had a great time.

Izzy's 1st Haircut

 It took us almost 3 year but Izzy finally got her 1st haircut.  She did such a good job but wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt.  It helped that we went to a place called 'Snip Its', totally designed for kids.

Easter 2012

 Izzy & mommy after Easter Sunday.  We were able to bring home flowers that we purchase which are now in Izzy's room.  I also decided to make Izzy's dress again for Easter.  She wanted to help and made sure each night I tucker her in that I wait for her before making it.  Good think I didn't otherwise it wouldn't gotten done.

 Izzy was ready for the Easter egg hunt.  She wanted to know when she would see the bunny though and if he's coming back.

 Oma & Opa sent Izzy some Easter goodies.  And, we were able to wait until Easter to open the gift.  Izzy wore the shirt to school the very next day despite being a little chilly.  Unfortunately, the pop ring didn't quite tolerate the journey but that didn't stop her from eating it.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

 Saturday before Easter we were able to dye some eggs.  Izzy was so patient with her eggs making sure they were the exact color she wanted.  While waiting we had the opportunity to all act goofy.
