Sledding!

The Barkoudah clan celebrated our day off together by going sledding.  This was a 1st for my two loves… Abe never really had the chance as there was no snow where ever he lived.  Izzy didn't really seem to know if she was up for the adventure.  However, after her 1st trip down the hill she LOVED it.  Unfortunately, mommy kicked up some snow that flew into her face… and that was it for sledding.  You can see the seconds prior to this on the picture with Izzy & I… all smiles at that point.  Afterwards, we enjoyed a bowl of warm soup and then off to a nap for 3hrs!  I forgot how exhausting sledding can be!

Let it SNOW!!!

Yes, that snow storm that was sweeping through the US has now officially reached us up here in Boston!  It started to snow overnight & this is what we woke up to today.  It should continue to snow throughout the night as well.  Izzy & I had the day off because of the snow and Abe is working nights.  So we decided to get out of the house for a bit this afternoon.  Izzy wasn't quite sure if she liked the snow or not… we did alot of wanting to walk & then wanting to be carried.  We tried to build a snowman but it was just TOO cold.  Maybe tomorrow as we will be home again as well.
